The year 2008 will go down as one of the more memorable for the Internet. It saw the rise of Twitter, the fall of Yahoo, and social networking move into the mainstream, but despite all the advances, the Internet is beginning to show its age. Cracks in the system are beginning to appear, and things are beginning to break down.
