Windows 8 is on course for a 2012 release, according to a Microsoft employee. Whether consumers and businesses considering the switch from Windows XP and Vista to Windows 7 may hold their horses after hearing this news is arguable, but it would be wise to list out strong expected features in Microsoft's next Windows 8 operating system.
