Hitron Technologies Inc. and MaxLinear Inc. have announced that Hitron will be using MaxLinear's MxL261 digital cable multichannel tuner-demodulator single-chip front end IC for its DOCSIS 3.0 modems, EMTAs and gateways for European cable markets.
