Extreme Networks, Inc. is introducing new VoIP, IPv6/IPv4 inter-networking and essential security capabilities to its modular operating system, ExtremeWare® XOS, for improved application performance. In addition, the Company has extended ExtremeWare XOS to a new fixed configuration solution, the Summit® X450 switch, making it the first fixed configuration switch with automated process restart for high availability.
