Artesyn Communication has announced the availability of Wind River Systems' Platform for Network Equipment for Artesyn's KatanaQp AdvancedTCA telecom blade. Wind River's Platform for Network Equipment combines Linux 2.6 and OSDL Carrier Grade Linux with Wind River's Eclipse-based Workbench development suite and a rich set of networking middleware.
