Kontron Selects Broadcom Silicon to Build Next Generation Advanced TCA

Kontron, a market leader in embedded computer technology, today revealed at Supercomm the Kontron AT8901 AdvancedTCA Hub Board, built with support for two AdvancedMC modules and switching silicon technology supplied by Broadcom Corporation, a global leader in wired and wireless broadband communications semiconductors. The new AdvancedTCA hub board will enable greater design flexibility to top tier tele/datacom Kontron clients with the optional support for switch fabrics such as Advanced Switching Interconnect.
