Optical forum expands standards

The Optical Internetworking Forum finalized three implementation agreements for network interoperability to cap its 2005 activity. The first expands physical-layer component specs to tunable lasers; the others deal with security at the User Network Interface and Network-Network Interface (UNI and NNI).
