Whilst previous editions of classic Writing Secure Code presented security fundamentals along with design and coding best practices, and they were a lecture suggested for any and each developer (even if not primarily concerned with Microsoft technologies development), this book is very code-heavy and specially targeted to developers building software for Windows Vista who want and take advantages of unnumbered improvements in platform, even if the text presents some design considerations, so designers and architects will get some benefit.
