New IOLAN DS1 and SDS1 Single-Port Serial Terminal Servers provide security and investment protection for evolving networks.

According to Al Davies, Director of Product Marketing at Perle Systems, “The IOLAN DS line enables virtually any high-value serial device to be cost-effectively managed and monitored across existing Ethernet networks. With built-in support for IPV6, along with the most comprehensive range of standard authentication methods and encryption technologies available – including AES – these new terminal servers provide the best investment for serial to Ethernet connectivity. This represents an important advance in helping users better manage today’s evolving enterprise networks.”
